Artists in Education Grants
The Artists in Education Grant program, part of the Decentralization Program (DEC) of The New York State Council on the Arts, is administered by Livingston Arts. Artists in Education Grants support individual artists or local cultural organizations to engage K-12 public school students in rich artistic learning experiences focusing on the exploration of art and the artistic process.
Up to $1,500 is available, per project, for artists or cultural organizations working in partnership with public schools located in Livingston County. This grant can fund up to 50% of the project’s total expenses and should include costs for appropriate project evaluation and documentation.
Applicants must consult directly with the Program Coordinator before applying. Assistance in developing a program, finding an artist or school is available by contacting the Program Coordinator, by phone 585.243.6785 or by email email@example.com.

Monroe County applicants – new or returning, you are required to attend at least ONE seminar in either county.

Livingston County applicants- only new applicants OR applicants that have not applied in the past two years are required to attend at least ONE seminar in either county.

Deadline: Applications must be sent via EMAIL by 4:00pm on the first Thursday in September for projects taking place in the following calendar year for LIVINGSTON COUNTY.

To complete this report, please print it OR save the file to your computer. The Word version uses the form feature, so it may be completed on your computer. All final reports require an original signature by the grantee. Once signed, the final report, along with any required attachments, must be submitted to Livingston Arts 30 days after the conclusion of the project (4 Murray Hill Drive, Mount Morris NY 14510). Keep a copy for your records.
