We are seeking a part-time Marketing Manager and Program Assistant to promote and support our programming. Responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of web-based marketing content, administrative tasks such as scheduling, requisitions and content management in addition to other duties as assigned. This is an 18 hour per week position with the potential for growth.
Qualifications
• Interest in the arts
• Skilled in all Microsoft Office programs
• Extensive experience in common web-based applications and social media
• Organized and responsible
• Detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly and outgoing
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent time-management skills
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree.
• Ability to work some nights and weekends
• Experience with Adobe Suite preferred
• Experience with fundraising preferred

Marketing & Data Management Assistant – Internship

5-8 hours per week starting late May or June 1

*Job Description:       Help us to keep our calendar listings up to date, create appealing marketing materials and make use of free services like Facebook and online calendars to spread the word about our programs and services. Ideal opportunity for a business major or minor, art minor, or English major looking to go into marketing.

Applicant must:

-have excellent grammar skills, with good attention to detail.

-be skilled with using computer programs such as MS Word and web-based content management systems

-experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus!

-be dependable and professional

Grants Assistant – Internship

Starting in June, help to coordinate grant applications, training seminars, and paperwork.

Majors to apply: English, Administration, Public Relations, Art, Communications, Education. Applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills, with an interest in non-profit administration, the arts, and/or grant-writing. Minimum time requirement is four hours per week, semester-long, or for whole school year.

Arts Underground Studio Internship:

Starting in August, assist in setup of community clay studio & classroom, scheduling, and promotion. Applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills, ability to lift 50 pounds, and knowledge of clay, glazes, and electric firing with an interest in non-profit administration, the arts, and teaching.

Minimum time requirement five hours per week. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Please include a resume, letter of reference, and five digital images of your work.

Arts Underground

Arts Underground is the new clay studio located at the Livingston Arts Center.  Children’s and adult classes are held there, as well as fiber and crafting classes which require a sink.
