GENESEO, NY (July 22, 2017) – Coast Professional, Inc. (Coast) presented a check for $8050 to Livingston Arts at Coast’s Geneseo office on 07/06/2017. Coast’s donation is a result of the company’s dress down for charity program in which employees donate $20 or more for the option to wear jeans and business casual attire for the month. The donation includes the employee contributions from Coast’s Geneseo, NY office and the company match of up to $500 per office per month. Coast staff raised a total of $13,460 in May and June for local organizations.

The employees of Coast selected Livingston Arts to be the recipient of the charity dress down program for the months of May and June as a result of the impact that Livingston Arts has in the local area. The employees vote bimonthly for the charity that will receive the donations raised through the program for the upcoming period.

The proceeds from the event will benefit Livingston Arts and the Staff Sergeant Alexandria Mae Gleason Morrow Art Scholarship Awards. Livingston Arts is Livingston County’s Official Arts Council for the past 50 years. Livingston Arts is the steward of a two hundred piece New Deal painting collection on display at 4 Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris and was recently approached by Livingston County Veteran Services to rename the high school art scholarship the Staff Sergeant Alexandria Mae Gleason Morrow Art Scholarship Awards for her service and desire to become an art teacher after active duty.

“Coast’s dress down program was designed to establish a commitment to philanthropy throughout the company,” stated Everett Stagg, CFO and Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors. He continued, “The diverse missions of the nominated organizations demonstrate the depth of our dress down program and distinguish that this program is entirely championed by our staff. Livingston Arts makes a significant impact in our local community while honoring our community veterans, and Coast is grateful to be able to deliver donations to this outstanding organization.”
